Welcome to Kindergarten/First Grade!

Hi,

My name is Ms. K and I am happy to have your child in my class and I am looking forward to getting to know him/her and you.

Please look on the forum for the school supply list.

Every day there will be homework that reinforces what we learned in class. I am also requesting that you and your child read for 20 minutes every night. In the beginning, you may be the sole reader but as the school year progresses and your child is becoming more familiar with letters and their sounds, they will begin reading to you. I ask that you help them sound out a word first before saying it.
